IMMI – Impressive range of functionalities in the field of noise prediction

After the selection of the base package and the required guidelines, a selection of specific functions complements your configuration package.

Each function has its own history – whether a developer has a passion for map services and coordinate systems, a large project required a special function or the exchange of ideas between a customer calling the hotline and the IMMI support team which finally led to an innovation. In all these years, we have always tried to be in close contact with our customers and used their suggestions and criticism as the driving force for new developments.
The user-friendly functions of IMMI ensure the optimum execution of your projects executed from the first input of the data to the final output and documentation of the results.

Project work and data management

Single points, reception grids and façade levels can be easily calculated, while sophisticated algorithms provide for short calculating times.

Results are saved in lists with varying itemization degree:

  • Short lists: Overview of reception point and/or rating levels for all rating periods. Comparison of results with guidance values
  • Mid-size lists: Contribution of each single sound source to the total noise impact level, identification of main sound sources and frequency contents  
  • Long lists: Detailed and testable summary of all in fluencing variables, intermediate and final results
  • Simultaneously calculate all rating periods (day, evening, night, resting, etc.)
  • Generate differential grids (logarithmic and energetic)
  • Create conflict maps and population equivalent values
  • Export noise maps as contour areas to ArcGIS, ASCII or binary ArcGIS files, DXF

Documentation and presentation

The report manager function provides a powerful tool enabling users to design printouts and reports according to their individual needs and in many versatile forms.

  • Predefined paper formats and page layouts (from size A4 to size A0 in portrait and landscape formats) or individual formats
  • Various layout components for structuring the printout as desired: plan/grid, text, graphic, color legend, element legend, header and footer
  • Use of text boxes and plan clippings that can be designed as desired
  • Numerous options of labeling the axes and contour lines and displaying the scale
  • Parallel output of all point, façade and grid results

The powerful 3D viewer allows moving through the 3D model in three different settings.

  • Profile sections, screenshots and video recordings
  • Automatic flight along line elements
  • Graphic symbols for roads, vegetation, traffic light, vehicles

Interfaces and data exchange

IMMI supports the data exchange with a wide variety of data sources. Choose between the conventional digitizer tablet, import of background images, DXF or ASCII data. Interfaces to geo-information systems like ArcGIS and MapInfo are also provided.
